Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Medical Economics to lead
the Medical Economics team and analyze healthcare utilization and
cost trends.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze healthcare utilization and cost trends to identify
opportunities for medical cost reduction
Develop provider network evaluation tools and strategies to improve
performance
Ensure timely and accurate measurement of outcomes related to
medical cost reduction initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Business, or related
field
Minimum of five years of experience with healthcare analytics,
preferably in a health plan
Minimum of three years of experience in leading analytic teams
Proficiency in SAS or SQL
Knowledge of managed care operations, government healthcare
programs, and healthcare coding and billing
